While most organizations have put their travel programs on hold, we’re all confident that travel will resume soon. Like everyone, we’re busy preparing for what the new business-travel landscape will look like once the bans and restrictions have been lifted. And, we’re making sure we have the right tools in place to support our clients when that time comes.
We’d like to reintroduce you to the Gant Gateway. Consider it the ultimate mission control for post-COVID-19 travel.
The Gant Gateway is our client portal that allows our travelers and travel champions to access program data and a host of our fully integrated travel tools. It has direct single-sign-on linkage to the SAP Concur Travel and Expense platforms so you can easily book travel, access invoices, itineraries, and expense reports. The Gant Gateway provides travelers and arrangers full SAP Concur Travel access allowing them to book single or multi-city travel for multiple travelers right from their phone. Designated Travel Champions can easily add and edit policy by user-group or organization-wide. They can also add, edit, and view vendor programs. Plus, the Gateway offers access to robust reporting and analytics and a training toolbox for both travelers and champions.
“The Gateway speeds up travel management by providing a portal to accomplish some of the most time-consuming and disruptive challenges that travel managers, arrangers, and travelers face. It enhances the productivity of staff and travelers.”
Jenni Murer, Gant Travel CIO
While the Gant Gateway has always equipped our clients with the tools they needed to properly manage and conduct business travel, it has certainly proven its worth all over again since the COVID-19 outbreak abruptly halted all non-essential travel causing an influx of cancellations and all the work that comes with them. We’ve doubled down on the Gateway’s capabilities over the past few months, and thanks to some of our recent additions, the Gateway stands poised to play a vital part in our champions’ efforts to rebuild and re-think their future travel programs. We’ve added new reporting and analytics, enhanced voucher and waiver visibility and automation, and even extended our traveler-reservations mapping capabilities.
Unused Ticket Management
Track and re-assign unused tickets, no matter how many of them you have these days. With TicketRetriever, our end-to-end voucher management tool that’s housed directly in the Gateway, admins can access a detailed list of all available, expired, and used vouchers within their organization and even reassign unused tickets to other employees when needed. By applying value from unused tickets that could have accidentally gone untracked or unused, TicketRetriever helps clients to reclaim up to 100% of their accessible value from their existing vouchers. Especially when combined with our Perfect Waiver automation. Running in the background and supporting our TicketRetriever process, Perfect Waiver ensures every one of the unused tickets listed in the Gateway has the newest, best waiver already attached.
Travelers on the Road
Travelers on the Road, available to all Gant clients free of charge, is an interactive mapping and reporting tool that offers a quick, detailed look at your travelers’ current and upcoming locations and any airport their flying from/to/though to help you stay ahead of impending travel risks (like COVID-19 outbreaks). We’ve extended our Travelers on the Road platform to include 30-day geo-mapped views of all air reservations and built it to recognize a cancelled trip versus an active trip.
COVID-19 Report Card
To help with increased DUTY of Care efforts, the COVID-19 Report Card offers a live-data summary view of your travel program’s current activities. Our champions have an immediate view of where their travelers have been, where they are now if actively travelling, and where they are booked to go in the near future. We’ve even built out a new dashboard with a snapshot-look at program statistics vital to the current pandemic, like how many tickets have been cancelled, how many active reservations remain, how long our hold time is, and how long the current wait is for an agent to call a traveler back. It not only provides a snapshot of your company’s statistics but of Gant Travel’s stats as well, allowing you to gauge current wait times across the board. Plus, we’re actively working to combine our report card with the CDC’s COVID-19 case and hotspot data to identify travelers that may have been in, or will be travelling to, an area with an active outbreak.
