Implementations Specialist

This position will be responsible for implementing new corporate customers on all Gant Travel products and services, specifically the Concur Travel platform. This includes providing technical assistance as well as consistent communication to customers, courteously and promptly resolving customer questions and problems, documenting all related project records, and effectively communicating with Management and colleagues to achieve customer and Gant objectives. Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry. Create the best TMC on the planet for the Concur user.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify customers’ needs and translate them into specifications to be implemented
  • Assist customers in implementing Gant and Concur solutions
  • Professionalism in all customer relationships
  • Application Knowledge (Concur Travel, Apollo/SmartPoint, Salesforce)
  • Follow outlined processes completely and accurately for product installation
  • Effectively apply Gant methodology and enforce project standards
  • Minimize exposure and risk on projects
  • Consult with clients on testing and full release of their applications
  • Use Salesforce for all project, phone, and email history to provide management with status of activity, including progress and obstacles
  • Ensure that account contact calls and email communications are answered promptly
  • Respond to management requests for information, explanations, training issues, and other support requests
  • Escalate to management any deviation from standards regarding customer handling, staff accuracy or other performance that is not in compliance with customer and/or Gant standards
  • Participate in on-going process review of operational procedures, working toward automation of all possible functions
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to embrace technology, process and procedure
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple priorities under tight timelines
  • Consistent positive attitude
  • Great attention to detail and organization skills

Required Experience

  • 2-3 years travel industry experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of Concur Travel experience preferred
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Experience with corporate travel industry preferred
  • Knowledge of corporate travel reservations application preferred
  • Knowledge of data management and reporting application preferred
