Client Services Specialist

This position will be part of an exciting, fast-paced team responsible for providing travel platform support to both internal and external clients. Areas of support will include Concur Travel as well as various travel applications and tools. This includes providing technical assistance, as well as consistent communication, to both internal and external customers, courteously and promptly resolving customer questions and problems, documenting all related project records, and effectively communicating with Management and colleagues to achieve customer and Gant objectives. Create the best TMC on the planet for the Concur user.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s values, goals and objectives
  • Help us innovate to improve the customer experience and create a stronger company
  • Professionalism in all customer relationships as well as maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Telephone/email application understanding
  • Application Knowledge (Concur Travel, Apollo, Smartpoint, Salesforce)
  • Provide expertise & support for troubleshooting of technical issues related to the Concur Travel interface for both internal and external clients
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Ability to work and communicate with a variety of personalities
  • Ability to multi-task under tight timelines
  • Use Gant’s suite of tools for all customer interaction in order to provide management with status of activity, including progress and obstacles
  • Ensure that customer contact calls and email communications are answered promptly
  • Respond to management requests for information, explanations, training issues, and other support requests
  • Escalate to management any deviation from standards in regard to customer handling, staff accuracy or other performance that is not in compliance with customer and/or Gant standards
  • Participate in on-going process review of operational procedures, working toward automation of all possible functions
  • Participate in a continual learning environment and on-going training
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of technology and customer applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite

  • Requires great attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High degree of integrity
  • Understanding of Apollo and/or SmartPoint preferred

Required Experience

  • Trained travel professional with a minimum of two years of corporate travel industry experience
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Experience providing quality support and troubleshooting for the Concur Travel system

  • Corporate Travel Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Troubleshooting Concur Travel: 1 year (Required)
