Account Executive

Gant Travel Management is seeking an inside sales professional to prospect and sell directly to companies via the telephone and internet presentations. This role will be responsible for the entire sales cycle along with supporting the customer experience and collecting information which will be important to further sales and support of this market.  We are looking for an aggressive, success-oriented individual with a high level of commitment and a strong desire to be part of a top-notch sales team.  Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry. Create the best TMC on the planet for the Concur user.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s values, goals and objectives
  • Help us innovate to improve the customer experience and create a stronger company
  • Achieve sales objectives through sales to new customers
  • Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships
  • Manage a virtual sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Gant Travel’s products and services, and the products and services of our partners
  • Deliver demonstrations for all Gant Travel’s services & solutions
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position
  • Use effective time and account management to maximize results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Gant Travel’s partners and other third parties to increase opportunities
  • Document daily sales activities in sales force automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management
  • Be an active team player on the sales team, with business partners and throughout Gant Travel to help meet company objectives
  • Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers
  • Operates under moderate supervision with frequent reviews of work
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Sales experience with financial/accounting applications and/or hosted software solutions preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce recommended

Physical Demands

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment

You will either be working out of a Gant office or from your home.  If you are working from home, you are expected to provide for yourself a safe, quiet, working area free of distractions. You will be expected to provide (at your own expense) a dependable, non-satellite high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum of two available Ethernet ports within 15 feet of your work area.  Additionally, you will provide electrical surge protection for all Gant provided equipment which includes, but not limited to a Gant Travel owned corporate computer, single or dual monitors, and VoIP (voice over internet) telephone.  You are required to use the company supplied headset unless authorized by your supervisor.
